Executive Coaching

Executive coaching provides a confidential space to think more clearly, navigate complexity and develop as a leader.

Professor Matthew Davis combines executive coaching with organisational psychology, leadership research and a systems perspective to help leaders reflect on themselves, their organisations and the wider context in which they work.

Rather than offering advice or quick solutions, coaching creates the conditions for better thinking, better decisions and more effective leadership.

Why work with me?

My coaching is shaped by a combination of organisational psychology, academic expertise and practical leadership experience. Rather than focusing only on the individual, I help leaders understand themselves within the wider organisational systems, relationships and contexts in which they work.

My approach

Evidence-informed

My coaching draws appropriately on organisational psychology, leadership research and reflective practice while remaining grounded in the client’s own context and goals.

Systemic

Leadership never happens in isolation. Coaching considers the interaction between the individual, other people, organisational systems and the wider environment.

Reflective

Rather than providing answers, coaching creates space to explore assumptions, perspectives and possibilities.

Practical

Insight only becomes valuable when it leads to meaningful action.

Coaching Professional Development Programme

A limited number of places are available through my Coaching Professional Development Programme while I continue my professional development as an executive coach.

Participants receive the same thoughtful, evidence-informed coaching experience as all coaching clients while contributing structured feedback that supports ongoing reflective practice and accreditation.

Places are limited, a programme fee applies, and participation is subject to suitability and availability.

Professional practice

Matthew is currently completing the Henley Professional Certificate in Executive Coaching and working towards EMCC accreditation.

His coaching practice is supported through regular supervision, reflective practice and ongoing professional development.

Discuss coaching

Every coaching relationship begins with a conversation.

If you would like to explore whether coaching is appropriate for you or your organisation, I would be pleased to arrange an initial discussion.
